Do tours at T West take visitors up the gradual steps by the bell tower and onto the guest deck ? That would seem to be a special moment at the site---comparable to gaining the height of any objective, anywhere in the world; to survey one's surroundings and to feel that sense of completion always at the back (or the front) of the traveler's mind . . .?

These mini-tours are a great idea, but the audio is annoyingly inadequate. If the production qualities were improved, they could be a good way to "spread the word," but as they are, they have not reached their full potential.

I didn't watch it all, but I did catch the part that said the pavilion was the idea of Olga and Io, which did not surprise me. But I had not heard about the fire. I was there before the fire, and I have visited since. In '62 we dined there in our tuxedos and gowns, while Io and company did their movements onstage.

Hmmm. This is the Foundation's Education Manager ?

Isn''t light always being both absorbed and reflected, in any space ? Does anybody get this---or is it a place-holder for something more useful to come ?

God help us. The Christmas lights on the ceiling of the Cabaret Theatre look as though they were put there by a drunken sailor.
