John Howe Novato Residence

Might anyone have a photo(s) to share, or a published source to suggest, of the living room constructed for the home John and Lu occupied in the 1990's, at 454 San Marin Drive, Novato, Ca 94945? While an unremarkable side-by-side ranch/snout house, apparently apprentices assisted John with reconstructing the living room in the Usonian manner, that contained his own furniture designs.

Thanks for any suggestions! Information is being sought to accompany a lecture on unpacking the Howe Archive at the Wisconsin Historical Society, tentatively scheduled for June 12 in the Society auditorium.

Is this the house ? https://www.realtor.com/realestateandho ... 8970-12734

If so, not a trace of Howe seems evident in the realtor photos---sadly.

According to the timeline at the back of Hession and Quigley's monograph, Jack Howe died in Novato in 1997; Lu died in Novato in 2013. If she spent her last years on San Marin Drive, it has been only seven years since the house there was occupied by a Howe.

Thanks, and yes, this is the house. I'm told John designed and someone installed an exterior light fixture, subsequently removed.
