I am interested to see the construction of the ancient drafting tables. The thick tops appear to have been slotted c. half-way through the thickness of the
material, which I assume was done to mitigate possible warpage of the thick softwood (?) boards. And I assume softwood, to accommodate those who
might want to pin sheets to the tops . . .

The 14th image down, with the rectangular windows, arranged vertically, zig-zagging at Taliesin are where, exactly? He took the simplest of fenestration designs and made it simply fascinating.
