eBay: Letter signed by Frank Lloyd Wright
The resolution of the photo will not allow me to read the text of the letter but it would appear to be to a Miss Jenny Price? in B.C ( British Columbia) . I don’t recall seeing Wright sign his name with “Frank in the 1950’s, particularly with that funky ‘K’. The stationary color seems off, and I’m not familiar with the logo and lettering configuration either.
I’d be suspicious.

Ahh... my iPhone doesn’t have the mouse over option. Still the K in Frank looks somehow not right. Typically, Wright was initialing letters FLLW at this point in time when not using his full signature in the correspondence I’ve seen.
Has anyone seen a signature like this on Taliesin correspondence?

I believe a portion of this version (on Taliesin West letterhead) is shown in the earlier WC thread referenced by SDR. Note the slight differences in wording. The linespacing on the Ebay offering is really wonky... and does the added "I miss our walks" ring true?
Jency Price Houser was a housing activist, poet, radio personality and investment advisor. She was also a registered lobbyist in Washington, D.C. from 1952 until 1962.
If she was related to the Harold Price family, it must have been distantly. She was born in Virginia to Barrett J. and Martha Miller Price and died there in 2013.

Whoa ! A different version of a note to the same recipient, with the same date, typed---with a different typewriter (see capital M)---on an alternate letterhead and signed in a radically different manner ? And both of these items are presently offered for sale, on separate sites ?
The Amazon enlargement option isn't working ...

Seems like there was some ambivalence around the personal nature of Wright's interaction with this woman..? Was the one letterwhich appears to be written on personal stationary, with a personal line "I miss our walks", a "sincerely yours" instead of just "sincerely", and the unusual personal signature of only his first namediscarded for the official letter?
(But if that were the case, why are both letters showing up at the same time?)
