From $1,677,500 last year to $7,950,00 this year? Well, maybe the trouble the house had selling in the first place was because it was underpriced. In the 1980s, the woman who inherited the Stewart House from the original owner put it up for sale for market price, and it didn't move. A real estate agent suggested she up the ante significantly, and it sold in no time. Never underestimate the gullibility of the American home buyer.
