Except...wasn't FLW a disaster at that? Every home he designed went way over budget, and ended up beyond the means of normal middle class individuals.

His homes were and still are works of art, but affordable they weren't.

The color/stain sure doesn't match very well to the existing wood in the house. Should have done a better job on that.

Tile - breakable if something dropped on it. Any grout other than black will get stained. Corian - will scorch/burn it you set a hot pan on it.
