Are there any posthumous FLLW buildings that could be considered up-to-snuff? Or is the problem that people who tend to build the unbuilt tend to not anticipate the actual costs involved?

I'm not seeing any pictures of aforementioned model; and the second link doesn't work.

Could anyone post model pics?

That sentiment is touched upon in the PBS documentary on Wright -- spurious it may be.

Lawrence Strong Resi.

Does anyone have the original plan for the Strong residence? Taschen only describes it; and the built residence differs from the original. I only have seen elevations.

Question about mixed/angled plans

How did Wright configure plans with a square grid that had parts that angled [Buehler, Cedar Rock, etc.] without ending up with 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc. measurements? Or did they? I can't imagine the builder being happy [which I assume was a regular occurrence].

Do you have an image of the floorplan? I'm interested to see how it's laid out; it's quite the impressive jewel-box.

These look to be the Ward Greiner project plans. I've seen the blueprints online -- and saved them somewhere.

I doubt he would. In the end, they are merely plopped onto their setting rather than arising from it.

I don't think it is. I looked up Coonley in the first Taschen and it only references the house and kindergarten, really; an image or plan that even slightly resembles the perspective doesn't pop up.

Identification of Perspective

I was looking up Wasmuth Portfolio and came across this perspective that doesn't look familiar -- and I don't recall seeing in Taschen. http://p2.la-img.com/306/30741/12046934_5_x.jpg Where the picture comes from lists it as being by Wright; but, no specifics. http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/120...

Seeing it closer, it's not Wright. From far away, it reminded me of those plans.

The house connecting to the boathouse looks similar to the MacDonald/Glass House projects. -- which later became Cedar Rock [it could be that, as well; I don't have the plan at the ready].

Correction: STAMM Boathouse Project; I read it too quickly and thought Shamm.

Shamm. The second pic I posted is what I just scanned from Taschen.
