I like that the coloring of the marble [granite?] of the countertop is in sync with the colors of the wood/walls; reminds me of the tiles used at the Getty matching the bark of the trees.

Combined 466 pages, hopefully there are some unseen plans/perspectives I've not yet laid eyes upon. His period between Prairie and Usonian were his most-experimental; so, it should be interesting.

Even in Wright's most extravagant and expensive designs, he never made a huge kitchen, bath or even bedroom. Wasn't this moreso to do with his design philosophy of emphasizing the places of congregation [living/dining room] and that those areas [bath/kitchen/bed] were considered more functional spa...

Here's a good example of the difference between standard-height and Wright-height.

Wright's horizontal-emphasis, no-doubt, influenced some of the International Style [I'm reminded of tale of people in Europe flocking to gander at the Wasmuth].

However, Wright was still lower than Mies & crew, even during the Int. Style craze.

Low - ri - der.

I've seen sets online for $2,500, or so, in the past; and as high as $6,000.

With enough looking -- and time -- you can find a reasonably-priced set.

One of the better Wright-inspired houses I've seen -- at least, from a materials standpoint; I'd have to see the plan to see how well they understand Wright.
