The Catch:
The donation is contingent on the organization raising a $7M endowment by the end of 2020 to restore and run the site.

DRN..California and a few other states still allow work equivalency with a licensed architect, 8 years here in CA to qualify to sit for exams. That was my education, working alongside guys like Aaron Green and Thomas Aidala.

I'm not sure the path you've set in Civil engineering will result in much architectural experience. Keep in mind, many start out thinking there is romantic idea of master designer and builder of beautiful buildings, but the reality is pretty different.

Similar to participation in Olga's programs, music, while encouraged, was not a huge part of Taliesin life for some of the serious apprentices...unless of course you could play a musical instrument. If you could play piano, you were probably expected to accompany the rag tag collection of groups. Aa...

The reason for my comment is that I noticed that Bob Beharka was listed only for 1954 through 1955. Between 1955 and 1961 he was supervising construction of Llewellyn Wright, Marden and Fawcett houses, leaving the fellowship after Fawcett was complete to start his own office. Perhaps just an error s...

If an apprentice was on the job site supervising construction during a period, they will not show on the list for that year it appears?

Weren't most just your standard aluminum or painted metal drop-in floor grilles? I think that is what was at Fawcett, which has under-slab ducting.
