The module of the home is 4 ft 4 in not 4 ft.

The home included a bar-b-que pit on the first floor, going up the home had an interesting sofa with built in storage behind the back rest. It’s similar to Carlson but on a bit of a grander scale, in my opinion.

He designed the BOK Center in Tulsa, the largest ramp in the world, as of 2008, and his only arena. I was there at the opening and walked right by Pelli and a group of people. I would have taken a photo but alas I did not as I was enamored by the shear beauty of the building, a very modernistic yet ...

To bad you can’t move the tower to Tulsa, the concept works well here.

If the hotel was more of a Hilton curio collection it’d likely sustain better. I just have ideas but lack the money to invest.

I guess I am the crazy few who would live in the Tower. They have a grant to fix the outdated boiler and air system. To bad those slim A/c units, which Japan uses, are hard to put into a building like Price Tower, but I am sure there is a way. I would happily, when I have better income, just buy a s...

They do have a handicap room. With this being on the register, the elevators, stairs, and ceilings are not exactly code. This is a detriment to this building but I doubt it will go through considering the fact it’s three apartments, there’s a museum, it’s historic and nothing is...

Here is the unbuilt hassock for the tower. Colors will be fixed later on after I tackle the easy chair. I still have to construct the stenographer chair and dining chair for the model. I have included images from when I was last working on the model in early 2013. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535...

The apartment elevator is out of service as it houses modern lines for internet. I do recall the exterior scaffolding, I forgot it served as a lift.

Those tiny elevators, custom designed by Wright and built by Otis, may not pass. They would have to restore the apartment elevator to service. They can grandfather in certain things though. I remember on a visit some people were taking drapery up to the 17th floor. They used Harold Price’s el...

Roderick
I do have this book plus building Bartlesville.

I have been to the Price Tower archives where I only viewed a set of construction pictures.

I extensively made a computer model of both murals in Sketchup. I hope to finish the model soon along with a bit of updates to Pauson.

According to plans Wright had 3 murals planned of which two were done. Masselink designed the office mural and Wright designed the corporate apartment mural. The plan is scribbled in by Wright with color notes. A third mural was planned for the conference room on plywood but not done. Wright or Mass...

SDR there is also an exterior pole light at Westhope, Fir Tree, and SAMARA.

Interior pole lights would be made of wood like we see at Offelt (?) and Hillside theater, among many others.

DRN
Rood gave me a summary of the photos. I was looking for any photos of the conference room, newsstand, any color images of the offices or apartments.

DRN is it possible to scan the photos?
I am planning to finish my model of the tower but with the original set of plans I’m confused as to what was built and what was not built.
