I hold no hatred for Donald Trump, but I despise what he is attempting to do with his authority, either through incompetence or willful destructiveness to the American people, and the rest of the world, for that matter. I still think he's dangerous, and I believe you would think the same if he were ...

In light of the most current scandal, perhaps this thread(bare) should be retitled: "Friends Of Kathy." Do you suppose she would like to join the chorus? She could use a Go Fund Me endeavor to see her through the rough times her career has coming its way. Which most current scandal? Sever...

More questionable writing, a terrible addition, but there's still some Wright left in there somewhere:

Part of the beauty of cities is the chaos and unpredictability of their organic growth. Both Neutra and le Corbusier, in their desire to solve all problems through design, create horrifying scenarios resembling military graveyards. I think Wright's vision, though it turns its back on the city, at le...

Our president's orb fondling, sword dancing, banning women from meetings buddies in Saudi Arabia have declared that atheists like me, our family, as well as many of my friends, are terrorists. With friends like these, who needs enemies? Meanwhile, Iran had open and free elections and the Germans are...

I'm not sure what you mean? The new cabinets are attached to the brick wall. Is that what is reading as so "golden"? Yes, there is a skylight in the kitchen, but most of the light on the visible cabinetry as the kitchen merges with the gallery comes through the gallery windows. Pat's photo...

Other explanations: Winter- No leaves on trees allows much, much more light to enter the space. Light from snow on the ground bouncing off of the soffits reflects back down onto the furniture and floor. And again, the time of day... Morning in the winter is extremely bright. The two photos which you...

Winter brings the most light into a Wright house. Then there's also the time of day to consider... At the summer solstice during a rainstorm the house is at its darkest. Must "normal" houses are dark in the winter and bright in summer. I'm curious if others have observed this phenomenon? I...

It looks swell with the added yellow, but it makes the cushion fabric look orange, and in reality it's more of a rose, or toned down red.

Peter, is that a Pat Mahoney photo, or one of your own. The colors are not so saturated as in his shots . . . ? It's a great composition, in any event -- cover-page stuff, as Dan says. SDR My sincerest apologies for not crediting Pat Mahoney for the nice photograph of the Lamberson living room! I j...
