The footprint of the chimney could coincide with the rectangle bounded by the colonnades, with or without there being a flat ceiling at all or part of that rectangle.

One wonders where Wright's room was located. I see only one chimney on the plan, so perhaps he designed himself a suite upstairs, employing that chimney for his own, unique fireplace ?
