I'm looking at it purely from the interest in vertical wood siding. I think Wurster added a V groove which does result in a shadowline, but others in the northwest mounted is flush (Yeon, Belluschi). ...

Flush mounted siding in general had the benefit of reading more like a volume surface as opposed to a covering. It may be as close to stucco as you could get in the northwest. Wurster and other Bay Ar ...

I suppose a desk is a kind of table.

Somone at the Foundation referred to this at a Taliesin III lamp, but I'm not sure they were ever given an official name. And the reproductions are called Talie ...

I'm doing a lot of research in this area for a book on a mid-century architect. A lot of the decline of our quality of life stems from economic changes. The US isn't the manufacturing powerhouse it wa ...

I can't recall another design that used arches at the top of each window as this one does. Sort of a Richardsonian touch, or did Sullivan use arches like this in one of his buildings?

I saw that bust of Wright when I visited T-West some years ago and really liked it. That someone found a voice as a sculptor after settling into the Fellowship indicates what a creative collective tha ...

I was watching this sale and looked up a past auction in which a table and 6 triangle stools went for just over $3000 which I consider a bargain.

I'd never seen the "stools" referred to a ...
