Re: Joseph Mollica House

I strongly suggest that anyone using this forum invest in the Storrer book or books or at least the Heinz books. They all have a complete list of Wright works as well as descriptions, drawings and photographs. "...what is sense of build a prefabricated house if it won't reduce cost significantly?" T...

Re: eBay: Bedroon set from Spencer House - Wilmington, DE

I'm so sorry to see these things still being sold out of a house. Even if they are not Wright designs they were at one time integral to the house.

Beautiful house. I'm disappointed that they didn't show the interior. An odd listing.

Re: FLW/Jack Howe: Lake Minnetonka, MN Guest House

It would be helpful to stop referring to the 2nd Little house as "Northome." Northome is the area of the country that the house was located in, not the name of the house. It was, as listed by Storrer, built in 1912 and demolished in 1972. Storrer also lists it as "Northome" and I will have to ask hi...

Plagued By Fire

I'm disturbed that the cover photo is a stock one which we have seen many times before. It has nothing to do with the title. How about a photo one of the many Taliesin fires?

"Mrs. Wrights"

Please include the client Nancy Willey of Minneapolis. She was much more the client than was her husband, Malcolm. She wrote to Wright and then supervised the construction (1933) of her house. She even fed the workers when they went on strike!

"I haven't had Blu-ray before; what hardware is employe

Blu-Ray technology has been around for a long time. I suggest you get a player. It will make everything you view look better. You can purchase a player for as little as $60 or as much as $500. The cheaper ones work as well as the more expensive, just with fewer features. I suggest you get the same b...

LA fire

I'm now concerned about ALL of Wright's structures in CA. I understand that even the Getty Museum is in danger. The Eames house has also been evacuated. Do we yet know the new owner of the Sturges house? Is there any fire protection available for these places? Wish we had been able to visit the Stur...

Just ran across this photo and wonder if, other than Wes Peters, anyone could identify the participants.
