Re: Hugo Avila's Wright Renders
As noted above, we've been fortunate enough to enjoy Hugo's work at the Wright Attitude - along with several other outstanding renderers - for some time. To me, nothing is as thrilling as "walking through" an unbuilt design. To those who would advocate investing in rebuilding lost or unbuilt Wrights...

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
I have been with The Wright Attitude from the day of its birth. I enjoy posting photos of my visits to Wright properties and seeing others' photos. Facebook facilitates this sharing of information with simple menus for posting single photos or for creating photo albums. I have gotten more solid lea...

Frankly, I'd rather they'd bulldozed it. At least that's a worthy demise ...

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
Stan- Doesn’t your site allow sharing photos of others as long as credit is given? It does, with the caveat that the usage is in support of some sort of point you are trying to make about the architecture. We try to stay away from "pictures for pictures sake" unless they're your own shots, and you'...

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
"Post only those photos, drawings, renderings, etc you personally took or have permission from the creator to use." I was surprised to find this as the second item in the Group Rules at the facebook Wright Attitude public page. Of course this would be a prudent move from a legal perspective. I wond...

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
Maybe it is truly best for me to be in the shadows the way I have always been. Sometimes having an artist heart is not a good thing. I understand. I do still hope there will come a day when you can rejoin us, for your, mine, and the group's benefit. Even if you don't, I have some projects for the W...

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
Forums such as WrightChat are a wonderful vehicle for research, with their dedicated, titled threads that can be archived and searched. Not everyone wanders the internet, though, and there’s a place within the confines of social media for a group dedicated to the ongoing appreciation of all things W...

Re: Article: 18 U.S. Icons That Are Falling Apart
The folks behind the Wright Revival Initiative made a number of brave statements regarding their potential support of the site, but I don't believe any of them moved beyond potential.
