I was in the house during a Racine Historical Home and Garden Tour (2013 maybe). Anyway, by then, most of the work by Gene had been done. The house was great.

Gene was there too. My then 9-yo asked him a bunch of odd questions. Gene answered the questions patiently and with some sense of amusement.
