Ahh Wes Peter's, that's correct. My apology. I saw the house for sale awhile back. Not sure if it ever sold. I've got a copy of the plans/sections for this house. I'll scan them and post them up if I have time. SDR, Really? We must have different editions or something, there was maybe 8-10 small pho...

You can find plans/sections of this residence in 'John Lautner, Architect' by Frank Escher. There is little information given about the owner or the design, but there are, however, a handful of pictures. There are also a few less, and smaller photos of the house in Alan Weintraub's 'The Architecture...

Well, judging by the second plan that wjsaia posted and looking at the photos on that side of the house, one can easily conclude that the master bedroom expansion is nothing more than a stretched version of the original form.

There are plans and sections of Segel and Beyer in the first Escher book on Lautner (1994). Craig, Is this the one you're talking about? http://www.amazon.com/John-Lautner-Architect-Frank-Escher/dp/1568981422/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247854115&sr=8-1 Josquin, Did you order that book through ...

Jeff,

Which rendering program are you using? I can give you some tips on how to reduce the 'tiling' effect on your materials.

Yeah, the first two of those links you posted are the books that I have. No plans, just a lot of nice pictures of both houses. Thanks

A Lautner discussion forum would be nice. And yes, the Sheats-Goldstein residence is an amazing space. In the "Between Earth and Heaven - The Architecture of John Lautner" there is an early stage, rough sketching of the beyer plan, but is nothing like what was built. I've got a number of photos for ...

Seeking Lautner Data

I know this is a FLLW chat board, and occasionally I see Lautner's name get brought up from time to time, so I figured I'd ask here. I own a couple books of Lautner's work and have always liked the Segel House and the Beyer House, both in Malibu. I have found a few other pictures on the net, but the...

Kudos for the updated plans/pics. I have started a 3D model of the house to try to understand the space a little better before seeing all these additional plans/photos. By using that site photo from Google, it was relatively easy to predict what the addition was going to be like in plan. I'll post u...
