Those photos are heartbreaking to look at. But I guess it's all part of the ebb and flow of life. Nature eventually reclaims the ugly as well as the beautiful. When Wright saw it I think he said it's a "magnificent ruin" (did I read that here?) I don't for the life of me understand why people save b...

The first picture is nice.
The house is just unbelievably beautiful. I could not imagine what it would be like to live there.

If memory serves me, the rendering was done by A. Raymond - but I'm not 100% on that.

I've actually seen Mr Tafel twice walking around Greenwich Village here in NYC, but have been respectful of his privacy and not approached him. I think he has an office somewhere downtown. Next time I see him though I plan on saying hi. By the way, when I told the person I was with at one sighting w...

heritage FllW/treadway

Looks like someone is selling their Henitage Henredon FLlW furniture collection via treadwaygallery.com in December. They don't look like they are in the best of shape, although there seem to be some of the nicer designs available (those cool triangle tables, those cabinets with the squares motif on...

I did a search and got this place - www.customhousenumbers.com. It looks like they do what you're asking. Don't know how much it costs though.

By the way, P22 the company that put out Eaglefeather also put out several other FLlW faces, so you may want to check those out.

fallingwater in 3d

Here is a link to a 3d walkthrough of fallingwater. It gives a nice idea of the layout of the house. There's also a link at the end of that for a short promotional video on Fallingwater

Thanks for the link. Gosh, could that interviewer possibly be more patronizing? Wright was right, they should have blown up Detroit and started afresh..more than ever.

Dont quote me on this, but I think I remember seeing a drawing of this project in the book Treasures of Taliesen - a book of drawings of unbuilt Wright designs.

suntop

What's the deal with Suntop homes? There doesn't seem to be a lot of published photos on this project. Certainly not in any of the recent books on Wright. Is this building somehow considered a "clunker" for Wright? I would think as one of his few multiple dwellings it would generate more interest. H...
