You can't see either from the street. Unless you have an invitation from the owners I would save yourself a trip and do something else in the area. If you do decide to go it is a nice area for a drive, just not for Wrightseeing.

Wright chair on Craigslist Chicago

I found this on Craigslist, I thought people might want to take a look. What are your opinions?

To put it simply these works should never have been moved, ergo, superfluous (the building should never have been built). Much of the art at the Barnes was made for that setting. It is much the same as building a separate structure for Wright furniture simply because the house needs work. The work a...

Thing is, the art should never have been moved. The building is superfluous, and given the situation, hard to look at. Cannot help but feel that to acknowledge it is to condone what has been done.

The article states that there are about 8 to 10 other Wright homes for sale that are not on this site. Does anyone know which homes these are? I thought that the Laura Gale house was for sale, but I don't see it listed. If anyone knows other Wright homes for sale, please share.

Bogk house

Paul, I am so jealous. I used to sit outside of that house during breaks between classes when I went to UW-M. Must have spents hours just looking at it, my favorite Wright home that I have seen. Everytime I am in Milwaukee I take a drive over to see it. I wish I could have been there, I never seem t...

Paul,

Please skip the DeLorean, unless of course you are secretly a scientist with knowledge of time travel. In that case, go nuts.

I think calling this house a "neighbor" to the Hardy house is a bit of a stretch. However, having seen the house within the neighborhood that is filled with Victorians and Queen Annes I would have to say that it is a bit of fresh air. In a way this home reminds me a little of Rietveld's Schroder hou...

I heard some of that myself. I did also hear just a couple of years ago that someone diving in Lake Michigan had found a sprite and various other parts to the Midway but I am wondering if anyone else heard any of that story. I heard this person was keeping the location under wraps. I may have even h...
